Job Summary
The Cleaner plays a vital role in ensuring our client office spaces are clean, hygienic, and presentable. This position is focused on delivering excellent cleaning service within an office building environment and some light maintenance of potted plants for our clients.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • General Cleaning:
    • Vacuuming and mopping floors in offices, corridors, and common areas.
    • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
    • Emptying trash bins and replacing liners throughout the building.
    • Cleaning and polishing surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and furniture.
    • Restocking restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
  • Indoor Potted Plant Maintenance
    • Watering potted plants according to a schedule and plant requirements.
    • Misting and light cleaning of plant leaves.
    • Monitoring for pests and basic troubleshooting of plant health.
  • Additional duties
    • Reporting any damage or maintenance issues to the Facilities Supervisor.
    • Assisting with minor facilities tasks or special cleaning projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Prior cleaning experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to thorough cleaning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule (may include some evenings or weekends).
  • Basic understanding of potted plant care would be a valuable asset.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
