Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve project modeling, including updating key assumptions and preparing client-facing materials utilizing the model output
- Model performance of our portfolio of property assessed clean energy (PACE) bonds using Excel and proprietary financial reporting systems.
- Develop financial models related to various property-assessed clean energy (PACE) programs that meet specific requirements of those programs.
- Develop models to analyze energy savings for potential clients (e.g., for projects involving HVAC or other energy efficiency retrofits, solar storage, etc).
- Work with third-party sources of energy tariff information to analyze and incorporate data into project financial models
- Take on responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of financial and non-financial metrics to fund investors.
- Assist sales team in various modeling exercises related to offering PACE programs to individual clients
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
- 4-year college degree in finance, economics, accounting or similar.
- Excellent Excel modeling skills required and experience a plus.
- Project finance or financing structures experience a plus.
- Corporate Real Estate experience a plus
- Proven skills in building financial models and cash analysis flow a plus.
- Experience in PACE debt financing a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting, especially as it relates to modeling GAAP income statements and balance sheets, and partnership accounting.
Travel Requirements
Hybrid Position with office located in UTC area of San Diego, CA. Fully Remote position is possible for the right candidate. No travel is required.
