Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Driver to join our team. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, goods, and equipment in all regions of The Gambia. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Safe Operation: Safely and responsibly operate organization vehicles.
Transportation: Transport goods, equipment, and passengers to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the security of the cargo.
Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the assigned vehicle clean and organized, conduct regular inspections, and promptly report any mechanical issues.
Compliance: Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo during transportation.
Basic Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as refueling, oil changes, tire checks, and minor repairs.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance activities.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Education, Experience, and Skills:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a driver in non-government and government organizations for a minimum of 3 years.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver's License: Valid B, C driver's license.
Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of local and state traffic laws and regulations.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry moderate loads if required.
