Business Development Representative

Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) | Dubai, UAE
SG Recruitment Group is working with an a global tech business to hire a Business Development Representative (BDR) for a growing team in Dubai. This is a pure new business role focused on outbound prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings for the sales team.
What you will do
- Prospect and engage target companies via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and events.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using clear criteria (need, budget, authority, timeline).
- Book high quality discovery meetings and consistently hit activity and meeting targets.
- Maintain accurate pipeline updates in the CRM and keep notes clean and usable.
- Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to refine messaging and targeting.
- Learn the product, market, and competitor landscape quickly and communicate it clearly.
What we are looking for
- 6 to 24 months experience in outbound sales, telesales, lead generation, or a BDR/SDR role.
- Comfortable making high volumes of calls and handling rejection without losing pace.
- Strong written and spoken English. Clear, confident communication is non negotiable.
- Commercial mindset, coachable attitude, and a consistent work ethic.
- Experience using CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) and basic reporting.
- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate quickly.
Nice to have
- B2B experience in SaaS, recruitment, professional services, fintech, or real estate.
- Experience selling into the GCC market.
- Proven examples of hitting targets (meetings booked, pipeline created, revenue influenced).
