We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly strategic Country Manager, OTT/Streaming - Thailand (Chinese/Thai Bilingual) to spearhead our client's comprehensive market growth. The core driver for this executive role is to transition the platform's world-class IP into local multi-channel growth. The successful candidate will act as the principal regional representative, responsible for orchestrating high-stakes corporate negotiations, optimizing local content localization, and cultivating high-performing local teams to build a sustainable, dominant brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development: Drive the platform's overarching market expansion and commercial negotiations; unlock and cement high-value partnerships with local television networks, telecom operators, and top-tier production houses.
- Content Localization and IP Scaling: Oversee the operationalization of localized mini-dramas, variety shows, and flagship content formats; spearhead co-production joint ventures, copyright syndication, and IP licensing frameworks.
- Key Account and Revenue Management: Cultivate and future-proof relationships with premium local clients and industry stakeholders; formulate and execute annual commercial blueprints to consistently surpass growth targets.
- Organizational Leadership: Architect, mentor, and lead the local operations team; establish performance milestones (KPIs) and operational workflows to continuously elevate localization efficiency.
- Cross-Border Harmonization: Interface closely with global headquarters across production, content strategy, operations, and technical divisions to ensure seamless resource alignment and local execution.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: Bachelor's degree or above with over 5 years of professional track record, including a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience living/working locally, demonstrating an intrinsic grasp of the regional media and commercial landscape.
- Commercial Acumen: Exceptional cross-cultural negotiation capabilities, backed by an established network within local broadcasting, telecom, or theatrical production circles.
- Language Proficiency: Complete professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and Thai; able to utilize both as core working languages to bridge corporate cultures.
- Leadership and Resilience: Proven experience leading agile local teams to execute complex projects independently; highly adaptable to fast-evolving business mandates and high-pressure scenarios.
