Description:
The MEAL Intern will support the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) activities of shareQ’s ongoing programs. The intern will assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing program data, supporting reporting processes, and contributing to the improvement of program performance. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in program monitoring and evaluation within the humanitarian and nonprofit sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of MEAL plans in line with program objectives and donor requirements.
- Support the collection, entry, and organization of program data.
- Assist in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to monitor program progress.
- Contribute to the preparation of program reports and documentation.
- Support the maintenance and updating of the program’s MEAL database and monitoring tools.
- Participate in meetings related to monitoring, evaluation, and program learning.
- Assist in documenting lessons learned and best practices to support program improvement.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Public Health, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Good written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Interest in the humanitarian and nonprofit sector.
