Job title: Assistant Chef

Location: Office in Aintoura, Keserwan.

Work schedules: Full-time Monday to Friday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Organization Overview: shareQ (www.shareq.org) is a Lebanese non-profit organization launched by a group of dedicated young professionals in 2012. shareQ is dedicated to innovating sustainable social projects and implementing them in collaboration with more than 30 NGOs. shareQ has currently two main departments, ProAbled (www.proabled.com) and M Social catering (www.msocialcatering.com).

M Social catering is an industrial kitchen producing vacuum meals and healthy snacks for NGOs, schools and elderly centers.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the chef with cooking.

• Preparing all ingredients needed and other related tasks.

• Communicating with the kitchen supervisor to make sure all the goods are ready.

• Communicating with the Quality supervisor to make sure all sanitary standards are taken.

• Communicating with the chef to prepare all cooking needs.

• Preparing snacks.

• Cooking meals, Packing them in vacuum bags.

• Carrying and moving kitchen Loads.

Job Qualifications:

Academic background in Hospitality or minimum 2 years of experience as assistant chef or similar role.

Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Mission-driven and social spirit.

• Stress tolerance: Ability to work under pressure.

• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management skills.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
