Position Summary:  

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing shareQ's websites, platforms, and web-based tools. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who can work closely with cross-functional teams to improve user experience, support digital projects, and ensure high-quality technical performance. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, update, and maintain custom websites and web tools. 
  • Create and manage websites using custom CMS development. 
  • Optimize website content, speed, performance, and accessibility. 
  • Work closely with the design and communication teams to build responsive and pixel-perfect web pages. 
  • Improve the overall user experience across shareQ's digital platforms. 
  • Support search engine optimization through on-page and off-page SEO practices. 
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. 
  • Test, debug, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure quality and performance. 
  • Use AI tools effectively to improve productivity and speed up development tasks. 
  • Explore and test new technologies when needed. 

Job Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, Bootcamp training, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development. 
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. 
  • Experience with WordPress and Drupal is a plus. 
  • Experience with front-end and back-end frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, and Node.js. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Moodle LMS is a plus. 
  • App development experience is an advantage. 
  • Previous experience working on professional web development projects or a portfolio of completed work is required.
