Job title: Partnerships and Development Officer 

Location: Office in Aintoura, Keserwan 

Work schedules: Full-time from Monday to Friday (8.00 AM - 5.00 PM) 

(Attending external meetings, conferences, and events when requested) 

Responsibilities: 

  • Research, identify, and engage with potential new partners and stakeholders, including other NGOs, INGOs, educational institutions, foundations, donors, companies, and public institutions. 
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify development opportunities and trends in the industry. 
  • Attend sector and cluster meetings of the networks we are part of (such as livelihood, food, LHDF, LSE, GCNL) with potential and existing partners, and effectively communicate the organization's mission, values, and services, build connections with stakeholders, and prepare minutes of meetings and reports for management. Many of these meetings are live in Beirut and other regions, while some of the meetings are online. 
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for potential opportunities in coordination with the development manager and branding/design coordinators. 
  • Participate in co-designing solutions based on opportunities locally and internationally, and for internal strategies. 
  • Prepare documents and reports. 

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public health, or NGO management (other majors are acceptable as long as the experience mentioned below is available) 
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in a role related to partnerships, communication, business development, sales, NGO in the design field is a plus. 
  • Good organization, coordination, and communication skills 
  • Languages: Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English (French is a plus) 
  • Previous volunteering (such as Scouts, Red Cross, NGOs) is a plus 
  • As the role involves attending many meetings in Beirut and other regions, car availability is required 

Competencies: 

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business software.
