Job title: Partnerships and Development Officer

Location: Office in Aintoura, Keserwan

Work schedules: Full-time from Monday to Friday (8.00 AM - 5.00 PM)

(3 days from the office and 2 days in Beirut for meetings, conferences, and events)

Organization Overview: shareQ (www.shareq.org) is a Lebanese non-profit organization launched by a group of dedicated young professionals in 2012. shareQ is dedicated to innovating sustainable social projects and implementing them in collaboration with more than 30 NGOs. shareQ has currently two main departments, ProAbled (www.proabled.com) and M Social Catering (www.msocialcatering.com).

Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, and engage with potential new partners and stakeholders, including other NGOs, INGOs, educational institutions, foundations, donors, companies, and public institutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify development opportunities and trends in the industry.
  • Attend sector and cluster meetings of the networks we are part of (such as livelihood, food, LHDF, LSE, GCNL) with potential and existing partners, and effectively communicate the organization's mission, values, and services, build connections with stakeholders, and prepare minutes of meetings and reports for management. Many of these meetings are live in Beirut and other regions, while some of the meetings are online.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for potential opportunities in coordination with the development manager and branding/design coordinators.
  • Participate in co-designing solutions based on opportunities locally and internationally and for internal strategies.
  • Prepare documents and reports Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies and plans to achieve business and impact growth targets.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public health, or NGO management (other majors are acceptable as long as the experience mentioned below is available)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in a role related to partnerships, communication, business development, sales, or NGO in the design field
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Languages: Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English (French is a plus)
  • Previous volunteering (such as Scouts, Red Cross, NGOs) is a plus
  • As the role involves to attend many meetings in Beirut and other regions, car availability is required

Competencies:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail
