Food Safety Inspection (100 c-e)

My local authority client in Sussex is seeking Environmental Health Officers/Food Safety Professionals to undertake food safety inspections on circa 100 premises risk rated categories C, D and E starting February 2025.

This work is on a paid per inspection basis.

Experience and Qualifications:

Demonstrate substantial experience in conducting food inspections on behalf of a local authority.

Maintain a fully up-to-date competency matrix and engage in continuous professional development (CPD) to stay abreast of the latest developments in food safety regulations and practices.

Hold either a BSc/MSc in Environmental Health or possess a Higher Certificate in Food Control.

Proven experience in the field of environmental health, specifically in food safety inspections.

Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing food safety.
