Damp and Mould Surveyor

Our client, based in Kent is currently looking for a Damp and Mould Surveyor available immediately to cover a vacancy within the team on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months Initially).

This role involves inspecting private sector homes to identify and address damp and mold hazards, ensuring that homes are maintained in a safe condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of private sector homes to identify damp and mold hazards.
• Provide expert advice and solutions for damp and mold remediation.
• Prepare detailed reports and support enforcement actions as necessary.
• Engage with tenants, landlords, and property managers to ensure compliance with housing regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• HHSRS Certificate
• A Level 4 qualification in a relevant field or significant experience in remediating damp and mold in residential buildings.
• Proven experience in damp and mold inspections, building surveying, and contract management.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for business use.
