MANAGER - PRODUCTS & SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT

Scope of the role

The primary objective is to identify the challenges and the techno-commercial requirements of the cement customers and to develop the products and solutions. The individual should manage a team of engineers and the technical team to plan, organize, and the implementation of offering technical support to the customers within the extremely tight timelines

Responsibilities

• Positioning i2i customer service & VAS as the premium cement and concrete solution provider in SL construction industry.
• Promoting blended cement among key stakeholders in the B2B & B2C industry.
• Actively engage in the developing and maintaining the SCCCL product portfolio.
• Developing & communicating new business opportunities through value creation & providing technical solutions to capture new projects or customers.
• Achieve budgeting-related figures.
• Developing the capability of subordinates through coaching/mentoring.
• Drive team to get required product approvals from the relevant institutes and stakeholder management .
• Organizing the INSEE i2i knowledge-sharing sessions and other technical events required with Government and private stakeholders to disseminate the knowledge and to understand the real market needs.
• Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance of OH&S rules and regulations of the team & personnel.

Requirements

• BSc (Eng.) Civil, Masters degree related to the field.
• Minimum 05 years of experience in concrete, cement manufacturing & quality control with research and laboratory experience.
• Concrete technology and Quality Control in construction materials.
• Analytical skills with Concrete technology, Understanding customer/market requirements.
• Public speaking skills and lecturing skills will be an added advantage.
