Scope of the role

Supervising the packing plant to meet set goals at a sustainable cost and efficiently managing both in-house employees and third-party workers to ensure smooth operations while boosting the EBITDA margin.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate effective execution of the organizations Health & Safety strategy and culture-building agenda by developing Health & safety competencies of the employees.
  • Conduct SOTs/ Planning inspection, VFL and TBT (Tool box talk), Hazard report and engagement for safety communication platform with subordinates to improve People Capability & lead to create H&S.
  • Ensure availability of pack house operation with Palletizer machine (Maintain machine condition & minimize machine breakdown, Propose plant improvements).
  • Ensure the right brand and right product & support plant customer service (Achieve the set targets & mention about quality of product & dispatch rate).
  • Provide & complete daily / monthly report (Ensure the accuracy of the packing plant report and provide necessary documentation).
  • Contribute to yearly cost saving (Guide the expenditure by planed budget).
  • Handling of paper sacks (Maintain paper bag breakages and storage).
  • Palletizer operation (Issue right brand and right quantity with quality products as requested by warehouse officer).
  • Maintain SLSI / CSMD / ISO / Safety related documentation work.

Requirements

  • National Diploma in Technology (NDT), HNDE or equivalent in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 01-year industrial experience in a similar kind of field or Chemical / Process / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering field.
  • Knowledge on SAP (Follow notification, material and paper bag GI & GR part & Data downloading) and MS Excel (controlling documents & daily data reports in operation).
  • Knowledge for Maintenance (Electrical & Mechanical) and machines process, PLCs and Pneumatic Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
