OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Subject matter expert for Fixed Asset Accounting in RTR GA Non-Payroll Accounting Team. Transactional scope includes:

    1. Journal Entry preparation
    2. Balance Sheet Reconciliation
    3. Account Analysis
    4. Purchase Requisition

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Point of Contact in the Philippines for Lease Center of Excellence and task to articulate Fixed Asset Accounting in the company
  • Coordinates the annual physical asset count with ISA and Workplace
  • Prepares Journal Entries in accordance with relevant local and global standards including but not limited to meeting both internal and external requirements while fostering key relationships with delivery stakeholders both locally and globally.
  • Reconciles assigned Balance Sheet Reconciliations that prepared timely and possesses the required quality.
  • Ensures all recon outstanding items are resolved within the policy period and any issue that requires escalation follow the escalation matrix
  • Analyze and own assigned GL Accounts to ensure accuracy and reasonableness of the balances
  • Reviews Purchase Requisitions regarding general ledger use and correctness of tax requirements (tax code and proper tax rates as applicable)
  • Identify and participate in Finance-related process improvements and innovation initiatives
  • Additional operational responsibility for Service Delivery, when applicable or assigned
  • Understands the business and Finance agenda and translates that into Finance actions/priorities
  • Understands and executes escalations, issues and concerns related to General Accounting from different stakeholders
  • Assist in facilitation of requests for services that are beyond the standard services
  • Ensures adherence to SLAs and good relationships with other groups
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with entity, workgroup and geographic key contacts
  • Assist in building strong succession plan for self, and BCP for team
  • Aid and drive continuous improvements/projects in the process
  • Assists team members with their assigned work
  • Demonstrate effective teaming skills both within and outside of the team
  • Encourage team members to share knowledge and to leverage proven best practices
  • Participate in people development activities outside of the team (e.g. community activities, recruiting, and teaching)


TO QUALIFY:

  • BS Accountancy, preferably CPA
  • Minimum of 3 years accounting or record to report experience with strong financial and accounting skills
  • 1 year Fixed Asset Processing and needs to have the experience in making capitalization decisions
  • Has worked in an extensive ERP environment primarily Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Has experience in preparation of Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations
  • Proficient in MS Excel including functions, pivot, and simple macros
