Salary: 150,000 - 200,000 Monthly (Net)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant / Purchase Officer to support our finance and procurement operations in Lekki. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial reporting, and coordinate procurement activities. This dual-role requires strong analytical skills, excellent vendor management capabilities, and experience in financial recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.

  • Process purchase orders and monitor inventory and supplier records.

  • Ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

  • Monitor and report on budget adherence and financial variances.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

  • Collaborate with other departments on budget and procurement needs.

  • Liaise with vendors to negotiate pricing and manage relationships.

  • Organize and archive financial and procurement documentation.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in accounting and purchasing roles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

  • Strong knowledge of procurement practices and cost control.

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

  • Must reside in Lekki or be willing to relocate.
