Sales Commission: 1%2.5% on closed deals (higher tiers for deals above 350m; additional commission for Zoho products)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Country Manager (Nigeria) to lead our commercial operations in Nigeria. The role will drive revenue growth, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and market expansion across fintech, insurtech, cloud, and digital payments. The Country Manager will establish and manage local operations, build high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence, reporting directly to the CEO, Africa. This position is critical to the company's pan-African growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Leadership
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for Nigeria.
Drive enterprise B2B sales across financial services, insurance, payments, and digital transformation.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with regional objectives.
Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and deal closures.
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Build and maintain relationships with Mastercard, Visa, Interswitch, Zoho, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and other strategic partners.
Collaborate with banks, fintech's, insurers, payment processors, and regulators.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings.
Country Operations & Delivery Oversight
Establish and manage Nigeria operations, including sales, account management, presales, and customer success teams.
Ensure timely delivery of enterprise projects with technology teams.
Maintain compliance with CBN, NIBSS, NDPR, NAICOM, and NCC regulations.
Market Expansion & Strategy Execution
Identify emerging opportunities in payments, lending, insurtech, ERP/CRM, and cloud automation.
Conduct competitor analysis and support product localization.
Lead initiatives to position the company as a leading digital infrastructure provider.
Team Leadership
Build, mentor, and manage local teams across sales, business development, and technical presales.
Implement performance management systems and foster a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience: 12 -15 years in senior commercial or leadership roles; minimum 5 years in country/regional management.
Industry Expertise: Payments, banking technology, fintech, insurtech, ERP/CRM (Zoho preferred), cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise software/SaaS.
Sales Track Record: Proven experience closing enterprise deals of 200m350m+ and consistently exceeding targets.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
Certifications (advantageous): PMP/PRINCE2, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Zoho, Fintech/Payments certifications.
Strong networks across banks, fintechs, insurers, payment processors, and enterprise technology stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: 1,500,000 - 2,000,000/month (after tax)
