About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Associate (Data & Audit) to join our finance team. This role combines financial data analysis with internal audit responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across organizational processes. The ideal candidate will leverage analytical and auditing skills to support financial reporting, risk management, and data-driven decision-making within the organization.

This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to corporate finance operations, internal controls, and professional growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits of financial records, operational processes, and adherence to company policies.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential process improvements.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present actionable recommendations to management.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal control requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Track, document, and resolve audit findings in a timely manner.
  • Support risk management initiatives by identifying areas of exposure and recommending mitigating actions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or accounting roles.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, audit procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
