Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving patient volumes and revenue growth by building and managing strong referral networks and strategic partnerships.
This is a highly proactive, field-based role focused on engaging referring doctors, clinics, hospitals, HMOs, and corporate organizations to increase service utilization across diagnostic imaging and outpatient services.
The role is execution-driven and requires consistent outreach, relationship management, and measurable impact on referrals and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Referral Network Development
- Identify, approach, and build relationships with referring doctors, clinics, and hospitals
- Conduct regular in-person visits to healthcare providers to promote services
- Develop and maintain a structured database of active and prospective referrers
- Ensure consistent engagement, follow-ups, and relationship management
2. Driving Patient Volumes
- Actively generate referrals for diagnostic imaging and outpatient services
- Monitor referral trends and identify opportunities to increase volumes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient booking and service delivery
- Address barriers affecting referrals (e.g., delays, communication gaps)
3. Corporate & Partnership Development
- Identify and engage corporate organizations for health screening and diagnostic services
- Support partnerships with HMOs, insurers, and healthcare providers
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and partnership agreements
4. Market Intelligence & Feedback
- Gather insights on service quality, pricing, and competitor offerings
- Provide regular feedback to management on market trends and opportunities
- Monitor competitor activities and positioning
5. Coordination with Operations
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure service delivery meets expectations
- Communicate field feedback to improve patient experience and turnaround time
- Ensure commitments made to partners are consistently delivered
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of visits, contacts, and referral activities

Track and report key performance metrics including:
- Number of weekly visits
- Active referrers
- Referrals generated
- Revenue contribution
- Provide structured weekly performance reports
7. Brand Representation
- Represent the organization professionally at all times
- Promote service quality, brand values, and patient-centered care
- Support marketing initiatives such as outreach programs and events
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years experience in business development, sales, or marketing
- Prior experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or hospital marketing is a strong advantage
- Proven experience in field-based or relationship-driven roles
- Track record of achieving sales or growth targets
