Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and target-oriented Sales Executive to lead the sales of diagnostic, laboratory, and medical solutions across Lagos Island. This role is ideal for individuals with a science-based academic background (e.g., Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Technology) and 2-3 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management whether in healthcare, diagnostics, technical products, or FMCG.

The ideal candidate is a young, proactive self-starter who combines scientific knowledge with commercial skill to drive revenue growth and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell diagnostic and laboratory equipment to hospitals, clinics, labs, and healthcare providers

  • Identify and convert new business leads into loyal customers

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline within the Lagos Island territory

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for healthcare professionals

  • Foster long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up and post-sale support

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Provide valuable market insights, client feedback, and competitive intelligence

  • Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure exceptional client service

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Technology, or a related life science field

  • 2-3 years' experience in sales, marketing, or business development (preferably in medical/diagnostic or B2B sales)

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Self-driven, accountable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must reside in or be able to commute daily to Lagos Island
