Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based physical rehabilitation services to patients with varying conditions and injuries. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, a patient-centered mindset, and a collaborative spirit to improve mobility, function, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patient mobility, strength, and function.
Develop and execute individualized treatment plans using appropriate physiotherapy techniques.
Provide therapies such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and preventive measures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals for integrated care.
Ensure all physiotherapy records are maintained in compliance with hospital policies.
Contribute to departmental meetings, clinical audits, and ongoing training activities.
Uphold hygiene standards and maintain the functionality of physiotherapy equipment.
Remain current with advancements and best practices in physical rehabilitation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from an accredited institution; Masters degree is an advantage.
Active license with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN).
Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation facility.
Proven expertise in musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
Proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and treatment planning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
