Job Summary

We are seeking a performance-driven Business Development Executive to join our HR and recruitment consulting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating revenue, securing service-level agreements (SLAs), acquiring high-quality job roles, and managing end-to-end client relationships. You will play a critical role in building strategic sales pipelines in high-demand industries and ensuring alignment with recruitment and finance teams to deliver exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver a monthly revenue target of 6 million

  • Secure a minimum of 4 signed SLAs per month

  • Acquire quality job roles with average revenue of 600,000 per role (target: 20 roles/month)

  • Build and manage sales pipelines in key sectors such as healthcare, finance, FMCG, and professional services

  • Maintain and expand existing client accounts through renewals and upselling

  • Develop and nurture trusted relationships with HR managers, decision-makers, and executives

  • Conduct regular client check-ins and satisfaction reviews

  • Ensure SLAs are realistic, clearly defined, and aligned with recruiter capacity

  • Provide clear briefs and timelines to the recruitment team

  • Monitor role fulfillment progress and intervene where delivery is at risk

  • Work collaboratively with Recruitment and Finance teams to ensure SLA fulfillment and billing accuracy

  • Oversee the BD Support Officer to manage CRM, documentation, and follow-ups

  • Participate in weekly operations meetings to provide client-facing updates

  • Maintain up-to-date client and lead data within CRM systems

  • Submit weekly reports on revenue, lead conversion, and engagement metrics

  • Gather client feedback and pipeline data to drive process improvements

  • Strong in business development planning, lead generation, and sales strategy execution

  • Deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and business dynamics

  • Skilled in client engagement, proposal pitching, and contract negotiation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive-level interaction

  • Capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities with precision

  • Analytical skills for market research, KPI tracking, and ROI reporting

  • Experience working with or leading cross-functional teams

  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong relationship-building and client retention skills

  • Knowledge of sales funnels, business management principles, and recruitment models

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND/B.Sc. in Business-related disciplines (Marketing, Business Administration, etc.)

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development or sales preferably in HR/recruitment consulting

  • Proven success in B2B sales, account growth, and revenue delivery

  • Familiarity with recruitment service models, SLAs, and client onboarding

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong CRM and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and highly organized
