Salary: ₦120,000 – ₦150,000 Monthly

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate should be organized, trustworthy, and capable of handling accounting tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to management.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when required.

Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
