Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Strategy Officer to drive business strategy, operational excellence, and organizational growth within a leading real estate and property development company.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in translating corporate strategy into measurable business outcomes by developing scalable operational frameworks, improving business processes, optimizing organizational performance, and driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

Working closely with executive leadership, the Strategy Officer will enhance operational efficiency, strengthen governance and compliance, support digital transformation, and contribute to the company's long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Transformation

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's long-term business objectives.
  • Translate executive strategies into actionable operational plans and measurable performance targets.
  • Identify business growth opportunities and recommend initiatives that improve profitability, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Design, implement, document, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all business functions.
  • Develop scalable operational frameworks that support organizational growth.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement sustainable solutions to improve productivity and service delivery.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across departments.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Collaborate with the Finance team to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or service delivery.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving portfolio performance and maximizing Net Operating Income (NOI).

Technology & Digital Transformation

  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize Property Management Systems (PMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Promote automation across business operations.
  • Develop management reporting dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable real estate regulations, corporate governance standards, and internal policies.
  • Develop compliance frameworks and coordinate periodic operational audits.
  • Monitor adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Strengthen internal controls and operational risk management processes.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the operational liaison between executive management, investors, regulatory authorities, clients, and internal departments.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with consultants, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Negotiate favourable commercial terms while maintaining service quality and operational excellence.

Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering strategic business initiatives.
  • Establish departmental KPIs and monitor organizational performance.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members while fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Resolve complex operational challenges and support organizational change management initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Real Estate Management, Economics, Finance, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Strategy, Corporate Planning, Operations Management, Business Transformation, Asset Management, or Management Consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing operational strategies that drive organizational growth.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, operational risk management, and performance management.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and business improvement initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and business analytics tools.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, RICS, IFMA, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing multiple real estate developments or mixed-use property portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Experience implementing digital transformation, automation, or business intelligence initiatives.
