Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, impact-driven, and detail-oriented Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager to lead performance tracking, data analysis, and impact reporting for our programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E frameworks, measuring program effectiveness, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and donor reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitoring & Performance Tracking
- Develop and implement robust M&E frameworks aligned with organizational goals.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all programs and initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate data collection, validation, and reporting.
2. Impact Measurement & Reporting
- Document impact metrics such as lives impacted, cost-effectiveness, and program outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc impact reports.
- Translate data into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
3. Data Management & Dashboards
- Design and maintain data dashboards for real-time performance tracking.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure data integrity, quality assurance, and secure data storage.
4. Research & Evaluation
- Design and execute quasi-experimental and other evaluation methodologies.
- Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments.
- Publish research findings, reports, and policy briefs where applicable.
5. Data Collection & Field Coordination
- Oversee and manage data collection processes across programs.
- Train and supervise field staff and enumerators on data tools and methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and data protection policies.
6. Stakeholder Engagement & Learning
- Collaborate with program teams to integrate M&E into project design and implementation.
- Support donor reporting requirements and grant compliance.
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
- 4 – 7 years' experience in Monitoring & Evaluation within an NGO or development environment.
- Strong knowledge of M&E frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with quasi-experimental and impact evaluation designs.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SPSS, STATA, or similar).
- Strong report writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
