Location: Lagos
Salary: 400,000 - 450,000 Monthly (Net)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Medical Officer to join our clinical team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality patient care. This role involves managing a broad range of patient cases and working closely with supervising consultants to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to patients medical concerns by evaluating their history and symptoms.

  • Participate in treatment and preventive healthcare services under the supervision of the Medical Director.

  • Conduct physical examinations, interpret results, diagnose illnesses, and explain medical problems clearly to patients.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

  • Refer patients to specialists/consultants when advanced care is required.

  • Ensure confidentiality and impartiality in patient care.

  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment procedures and medications.

  • Collaborate with other medical professionals and clinical teams as needed.

  • Support nursing staff and junior clinical personnel with medical guidance and oversight.

Requirements:

  • MBBS Degree from a recognized and accredited institution.

  • 1-3 years of post-NYSC clinical experience.

  • Current and valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

  • Strong knowledge of general medical practice and patient care.

  • Proficient in the use of computers and EMR systems.

  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
