Job Overview

Sigma Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Implementation Specialist to lead and support critical hospital initiatives, including the implementation of new healthcare applications and the phased rollout of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role requires close collaboration with hospital leadership, technology teams, and subject matter experts to ensure successful delivery, adoption, and ongoing support of enterprise healthcare systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare IT project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to guide organizations through change in a clinical or hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

New Application Implementation

• Lead the full implementation of three hospital applications introduced in 2024–2025
• Partner with hospital Project Managers and the Director of Hospital Technology to ensure successful rollout
• Support hospital staff through organizational change management
• Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, reporting, and training materials
• Coordinate internal communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle

EHR Implementation Support

• Collaborate with hospital leadership and the broader hospital system on the phased implementation of the EHR system
• Support planning and execution for EHR phases, with the first phase scheduled for 2027
• Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, document, and validate hospital EHR requirements
• Ensure clinical, operational, and technical needs are accurately incorporated into the EHR design

Ongoing System Support

• Serve as a super user for key operational systems, including:
  • Incident management systems
  • Policy management systems
  • Electronic scheduling tools
• Provide ongoing guidance, troubleshooting, and system support to hospital staff
• Promote best practices and user adoption across hospital departments

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a hospital or healthcare environment
• Experience with application implementations and enterprise system rollouts
• Hands-on experience supporting or implementing EHR / EMR systems
• Strong background in change management, training, and stakeholder communication
• Experience developing SOPs, policies, and process documentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical staff, IT teams, and leadership
• Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in hospital systems or healthcare networks
• Familiarity with incident management, policy management, or scheduling systems
• Experience acting as a system super user or go-to application expert
• Prior contract or consulting experience in healthcare IT
