Talent Development Consultant Senior Aurora, CO 4 Months
Sigma, Inc. is seeking a Talent Development Consultant Senior to work on-site at Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora, CO.
Shift timings : Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 08:00 AM-05:00 PM
Required Job Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong facilitation skills in complex topics and content such as: Leadership development Organizational development Human Resource policy and process changes Demonstrated outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design and product development
- Demonstrated successful program and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority within the organization
- Demonstrated ability to multi‐task in a high‐pace, ever‐changing, and complex environment Experience
Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in corporate training or organizational development
- Equivalency: Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience in corporate training or organizational development may be considered in lieu of educational requirement
- Must have experience working in healthcare for at least one (1) year Required
Certification:
- DiSC Certification Preferred Qualifications Coaching certification(s)
Comments:
- Ensure continuity in programmatic, client‐facing, and strategic deliverables.
- Given the scope and complexity of the work, a senior‐level professional is needed who can operate independently, integrate quickly, and sustain momentum on high‐visibility initiatives without requiring significant oversight.
- Background The consultant going on leave supports a critical client group, Patient Care Services, and other programmatic commitments, including: Team Member Orientation facilitation Team Leader Orientation facilitation New leader onboarding and alignment In addition, the Talent Development team is actively engaged in change management to support the investment and continued implementation of the new performance management system, with anticipated additional focus in the coming months on: Key milestones of the performance evaluation process during the May–September timeframe
- The process of identifying, validating, and deploying a leadership competency model to support the People and Culture strategic initiatives Assessment Without temporary support, the ability to sustain the work of the Talent Development team is at risk, as responsibilities would need to be absorbed and reprioritized by the leader and two team members, one of whom is currently a traveler.
Additional concerns include:
- Reduced speed of delivery for requested client support on team and leadership development needs Increased likelihood of delays or quality gaps on enterprise commitments (orientations, onboarding, competency work, etc.)
- Heightened vulnerability if additional unplanned leave or emergent priorities arise for remaining team members
- Loss of strategic momentum during a time of substantial organizational transformation
- Recommendation Recommend that the Position Review Committee approve the request to hire temporary contract labor for a Senior‐Level Talent Development Consultant to mitigate risk and sustain service delivery commitments of the Talent Development Team for the period of contract.
Senior‐level support is essential to:
- Mitigate operational and strategic risk Sustain critical service delivery commitments
- Maintain continuity of enterprise development programs and stakeholder relationships
- Protect the team from capacity gaps during a high‐demand period
