What You'll Do

  • Handle and respond to time-limited conditional demands with precision and urgency
  • Draft and review:

    • pleadings
    • motions
    • briefs
    • affidavits
    • settlement agreements
    • legal correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and develop strategic responses to complex insurance matters
  • Advise clients (primarily insurance carriers) on risk, exposure, and resolution strategies
  • Negotiate settlements and support favorable outcomes for clients
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to meet deadlines
  • Clearly explain legal strategies to non-legal clients
  • Maintain well-organized and up-to-date case files

What We're Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of insurance defense experience (required)
  • Active Georgia Bar license (required)
  • Experience handling time-sensitive demand responses strongly preferred
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines consistently
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
