Human Resources Manager

Pay Range: $80,000-$90,000 annually
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for HR policy development, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and pre-employment testing.

Partner with external recruiting agencies when needed.

Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and all employee status changes.

Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant employee records.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as payroll and benefits regulations.

Advise leadership on employee relations, performance issues, and HR risk mitigation.

Lead and document disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.

Administer bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including tax withholdings and 401(k) contributions.

Manage year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation.

Oversee workers compensation, disability, and unemployment claims.

Coordinate company events and support employee engagement initiatives.

Administer benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and ongoing inquiries.

Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and maintain compliance documentation, including affirmative action reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in conflict resolution, employee investigations, and performance management.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; ERP experience preferred.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. No visa sponsorship will be provided for this role.
