Please note that this firm requires employees to work onsite full-time. There is no remote or hybrid opportunity for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including OVDP and Streamlined filings.
  • Analyze client financial data and prepare accurate journal entries.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and support various compliance functions.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients and coordinate closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. tax law, accounting principles, and audit standards.
  • Hands-on experience with journal entries and a solid understanding of accrual vs. cash basis accounting.
  • Working knowledge of GILTI calculations.
  • Familiarity with U.S. international and domestic tax forms, including: 1040, 1120, 1065, 8858, 8865, 5471, 5472, FBAR.
  • Experience with CFC and foreign partnership classifications, including Check-the-Box elections.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in tax software such as UltraTax, ProSystems, QuickBooks, and Practice CS.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a strong plus.
