Job Purpose:
As a Presales Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of technical presales engineers to shape and deliver innovative solutions for enterprise customer across cloud computing, IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity domains. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will translate business needs into technical architectures, craft solution roadmaps, and ensure customer confidence in our capabilities. This role bridges technical innovation with business value and plays a vital part in driving revenue, winning deals, and building trusted client relationships.
Job Accountabilities:
- Team Leadership & Strategy: Lead, coach, and develop a team of presales engineers across multiple domains (Cloud computing, Systems, Network, Cybersecurity), executing strategies to drive business growth, ensure pipeline health, and enhance technical excellence through KPI-driven performance management.
- Solution Architecture & Client Engagement: Analyzed complex customer requirements and led the design of tailored, scalable, and secure solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, while driving technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, PoCs, demos, and value-focused workshops.
- Proposal & Bid Management: Supervised and guided technical responses to RFPs/RFQs, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with customer objectives, commercial requirements, and the company’s solution roadmap.
- Stakeholder Communication: Presented technical and business value propositions to key stakeholders, effectively addressing objections with deep technical insight to clearly communicate solution benefits, limitations, and ROI.
- Technology Strategy & Market Insight: Maintained up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and compliance standards to recommend portfolio enhancements and identify opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination Ensure seamless transition from presales to post-sales and project delivery teams, Partner with product management and engineering to align solution designs with product capabilities and roadmap.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred Certifications: Candidates possessing the following certifications will be prioritized:
- Cloud: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
- Cloud Management & Virtualization: VMware VCP/VCAP, Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), IBM Cloud certifications.
- Security: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent vendor certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.)
Experience:
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Presales or solution architecture roles within system integration environments.
- 5+ years in a leadership/managerial role overseeing presales or solution teams.
- Proven experience across the following technology domains:
- Cloud Computing: Private Cloud, Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Multi-Cloud Architectures, Cloud Migration.
- IT Infrastructure: Servers, Storage (Block/File/Object), Virtualization (server, storage and Network virtualization), Data Protection (Backup/DR), Monitoring Tools.
- Networking: Extensive experience in designing and implementing Enterprise and Datacenter Networks (LAN/WAN, Wired/Wireless), including SD-WAN, SD-Access, network collaboration, and automation solutions, with hands-on expertise across leading technologies.
- Cybersecurity: Comprehensive expertise in Network Security, Application Security, and Endpoint Protection, with deep proficiency in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security Operations (SIEM, SOAR, TIP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Email and Web Security, and compliance-driven threat detection and response.
Competences and Skills:
- Strong architecture-level expertise in:
- Cloud platforms: public Cloud (AWS/Microsoft Azure/ Google Cloud Platform) Private Cloud (VMware/Redhat/IBM).
- Security solutions: F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Forcepoint, Cisco, Trend Micro, Symantec, Kaspersky, Tenable, IBM, Splunk, OpenText.
- Networking: Cisco /Juniper/ Aruba/Huawei.
- Systems & Virtualization: VMware, Redhat, opensource, Microsoft, Nutanix, Dell EMC, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco
- Automation Tools: Ansible, Terraform, scripting language.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, office-based role with occasional travel to client locations.
- Flexible work hours may be required depending on client needs and sales cycles.
- Collaborative team environment, often interacting with various departments and customers
