Trading Manager

Job Title: Trading Manager (Fresh Produce) Location: Riyadh, KSA Monthly Salary: 20,000 SAR + Benefits Reports to: Sales & Logistics Manager

Role Overview

As the Trading Manager, you will be the strategic architect of our fresh produce trading operations. Your mission is to maximize profitability by analyzing market volatility, securing international supply chains, and ensuring our products move from farm to table with uncompromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Intelligence: Monitor Saudi fresh produce trends (pricing, seasonality) across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Madina to forecast demand and identify high-value opportunities.
• Global Procurement: Develop and manage supplier relationships across India, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Oman, and Kenya.
• End-to-End Logistics: Coordinate complex import/export operations, ensuring compliance with SFDA and MEWA regulations while optimizing cold chain logistics (Air, Sea, Reefer).
• Financial Stewardship: Own the P&L for the trading division, managing an annual product value of 10M SAR and an operating budget of 3M SAR.
• Compliance & Quality: Implement SOPs for food safety (SFDA/GSO) and maintain 100% traceability from origin to customer.

• Annual Volume: ~200 Tons
• Portfolio Value: 10 Million SAR
• Team Leadership: 12 Direct/Indirect reports
• Suppliers: Managing a network of ~25 international partners

Requirements

• Proven experience in fresh produce trading or agricultural commodities.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi wholesale market and SFDA/MEWA import regulations.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing international supply chains.
• Analytical mindset capable of building P&L plans and tracking ROI.
• Ability to thrive in a 24/7 operational environment (6 days per week).
