Based in Lusaka, Zambia, we work with local and global clients in the public, private and non-profit sectors since 2008.
We are looking for visionary, analytical, empathic and curious Design Researchers to work with us in partnership and collaboration on campaign, content, product and service design, marketing, human centered design research and data science.
Key Responsibilities;
- Partner with project and creative team to understand client needs and design appropriate research studies to generate user-focused insights
- Conduct and write literature/desk reviews
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews
- Design and conduct design research studies including surveys, in-depth interviews, field studies, focus groups and concept/prototype testing
- Foster collaboration with other researchers, project team, client and relevant stakeholders to translate insights into actionable recommendations that inform innovation and positive transformation
- Deliver compelling research findings with clear recommendations, through written reports and presentations
Organisational environment
Working closely with all members of the team, expect this to be full on, exciting and results oriented. You will be required to work with all other content leads of the Media365 Project.
To qualify for the role, you should meet the following requirements;
- 3+ years of experience in user or design research
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Demonstrates knowledge of a range of common human centered design/ user experience research methods
- Demonstrates understanding of which methods to use according to different needs and how to combine them, including secondary research (e.g. literature review)
- Strong writing, editing and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
- Natural leader who displays strong decision-making and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to empathize with various audiences
- Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
