Job Summary
The Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing and purchasing process from supplier selection to contract execution. You will develop cost-effective strategies, manage a team of procurement professionals, and ensure all acquisitions align with the company's budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing: Devise and implement inventive, cost-effective sourcing strategies to
reduce expenses without compromising quality.

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors; build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships.

Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure the most advantageous terms for the company.

Compliance & Risk: Perform risk assessments for potential contracts and ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations.

Budget Oversight: Manage the procurement budget, track key functional metrics (KPIs), and prepare regular reports on expenditures and savings.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Legal, Business Development and Operations/Project teams to ensure clear communication of specifications and favorable contract terms.

Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop the purchasing team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business
Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Typically 6-8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management; those with experience in Construction (EPCC projects) or solar farm development would be at an advantage.

Technical Skills: Familiar with Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, networking, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
