About the job Civil Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- To instruct, lead, supervise, and monitor contractors to meet the proposed schedule.
- To study drawings, specification compliance with design, tendering, works executed and site conditions are in compliance with project requirements.
- Responsible for design, analysis, and testing related to engineering requirements.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
- To ensure all drafts and CAD drawings are prepared in accordance with requirements and specifications.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers on all site technical matters, e.g. timely issuance of construction drawings, follow-up on drawings, amendments, and site meetings. Etc.
- Generate weekly and monthly construction reports for management review.
- Ensure proper decorum is observed in the office and outside the office on official duties.
- Any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
- Field cover: Building, utilities and structure.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- At least 1 years and above of working experience in a similar capacity is required for this position
- Register with BEM & CIDB
- Familiar and good competency in using MS Office to generate reports/charts essential
- Job will be based in Papar District at Malua, Sabah.
