Sewing Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate sewer to join our team. If you have experience working with various fabrics and using industrial sewing machines.

This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Job responsibilities:

1. Operate simple machines to manufacture companys products.
2. Perform production equipment basic care and troubleshooting.
3. Ensure all products are according to order specifications.
4. Perform simple product quality and dimensions checking.
5. Sew and cutting E-glass hydrophobic cloth.
6. Operate and maintain sewing machines (e.g., industrial sewing machines).
7. Record all production details, quality, and defects accurately without delay.
8. Follow planned production and work schedule.
9. Carry out daily workstation housekeeping and equipment cleaning.
10. Perform goods packaging, labelling, storage, etc
11. Fully comply to company policies and guidelines.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Candidates must possess either SPM / SKM / IKBN / ILP / Certificate / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronic / Industrial / Technology / Manufacturing) or equivalent.
2. Able to understand, read, and write in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
3. Normal physical mobility, normal vision.
4. Experience with garment production, tailoring, or other fabric-based industries is a plus.
5. Able to perform independently with minimal supervision.
6. Effective communication, include speaking, writing and active listening and taking instruction.
7. Process good discipline, and able to work well with others.
8. Willing to undergo job rotation, 12 hours rotating shift schedules or cross training.
9. Job location in Bandar Puncak Alam.
