Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced HR & Admin Manager to lead our human resources and administrative functions. You will be responsible for building and nurturing our company culture, managing the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. This role is crucial in supporting our growth and fostering a productive, compliant, and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies in compliance with local labor laws. Ensure all practices meet legal and ethical standards.
- Administer the performance review cycle, provide guidance to managers, and support career development planning.
- Manage payroll coordination with finance, administer employee benefits programs, and conduct benchmarking for competitive compensation structures.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries. Address discipline issues among staffs (technicians, engineers).
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, manage HRIS data, and prepare HR reports for management.
Administration & Office Management
- Facilities Management: Oversee the office environment, including supplies, equipment, maintenance, and vendor relationships (cleaning, security, catering).
- Procurement & Budgeting: Manage procurement for office supplies and services. Assist in preparing and monitoring the HR & Admin departmental budget.
- Events & Coordination: Organize company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the office complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing both HR and Administration.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices in Malaysia
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, performance management, and policy development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to speak fluent Chinese and English
- Excellent organizational ability and experience managing office operations and budgets.
