1. POSITION DETAILS
- Reporting line: Senior Manager, Talent Management & Employee Engagement, East Asia.
- Scope: Covering Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Japan & Hong Kong.
- Support: Local HR teams in TH, HK, and JP will assist with the hiring process.
- Industry: Open to candidates from any industry, though experience in the insurance industry would be a plus.
2. POSITION SUMMARY
- Spearhead recruitment strategies to attract, select, and onboard right talent that aligns with the organization's values and culture.
3. DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
- Network and build a strong, trust-based relationship with potential candidates while remaining abreast of recruiting best practices and helps the organization implement them.
4. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run full cycle recruitments for a variety of openings including campus recruitment.
- Build deep partnerships with the hiring managers for the assigned openings to understand business needs, technical requirements and team dynamics while providing high quality ideas on sourcing
strategies and challenges.
- Source external candidates using wide variety of recruitment methods: posting, networking, headhunting, etc. and propose innovative sourcing strategies to execute successful recruitment plan.
- Act as a recruitment expert and provide guidance and best practices to hiring managers when needed.
- Ensure excellent candidates' experience and be companys culture & values ambassador.
- Conduct Intake calls with Hiring Manager to understand job requirement.
- Sourcing/headhunting, screening & short-listing, Coordinating interviews.
- Salary proposal preparation and offer management up to the point of on-boarding.
- Work closely with HRBP/Hiring Managers regarding job openings to ensure that job specifications, desired qualification and expectation are aligned and clear before sourcing.
- Provide excellent customer service and continuously communicating with HRBPs &hiring managers for interview feedback, fine tune search direction.
- Provide timely updates on hiring and headcount progress.
- Able to put into practice best in class recruitment including passive candidate sourcing utilizing hiring
tools/systems.
- Use social media, job boards, Internet Sourcing, University Recruitment and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
Internal
- Planning & organizing related Talent Acquisition programs and initiatives, example Walk In Interviews, Career Fair event, Fresh Graduate Hiring Program, Internship Intake etc.
5. ORGANISATION SUMMARY
The Client is in the Assistance Services and Travel Insurance industry.
6. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Technical/ Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven track record in full cycle recruitment within Asia including remote location hiring scope.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships at different levels.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors in relevant degree (preferably major in HRM or Business Administration).
- At least 10 years of accumulated relevant HR experiences especially in Recruitment.
- Experience in managing different roles across the organization including insurance, technical and other
functions.
- Solid experience in LinkedIn Recruiter (sourcing, projects) and other Sites.
