Job Summary :
Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs that meet the needs of the organization and contribute to the professional development of the employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and a proven track record of delivering impactful training solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Competency Matrix

  • Collaborate with department heads to gather insights into specific skill gaps and developmental opportunities.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify trends, patterns, and common areas of improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive competency matrix outlining the required skills and knowledge for each role.

2. Training Needs Analysis (TNA):

  • Conduct Interview with HODs, CAP compilation & preparation, Skill Matrix, use the data to plan for the training programs for whole year.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify training needs and gaps within the organization.

3. Instructional Design & Training Delivery:

  • Design engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia content.
  • Develop curriculum and learning paths.
  • Deliver training sessions through various modalities, such as in-person workshops, virtual classrooms, and e-learning platforms.
  • Facilitate interactive and participatory learning experiences to enhance knowledge retention.

4. Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and department heads to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and establish rapport with diverse audiences.

5. Coordination of Staff Trainings:

Pre-Training:

  • Plan and schedule trainings by sourcing trainers, comparing quotes, preparing materials, arranging logistics, raising e-Training requests and grants, and ensuring compliance.

Training Day:

  • Facilitate training by welcoming trainers, assisting with setup, ensuring full attendance, and capturing activities for records.

Post-Training:

  • Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback, follow up on Level 3 evaluations, distribute certificates, and maintain records for audits.


6. Others

  • Support specific organizational needs for different level of employees E.g. Coaching programs for new managers, Process Engineering Series, Supervisory Development etc
  • Monitor the planning and implementation of EHS training programs
  • Ensure yearly training hours are met for both staff & DL level.
  • Monitor HRDF utilization and act as the liaison between company and other industry players
  • Plan & implement On-Boarding schedule for newly joined staff / managers from Day 2 Orientation to line process training
  • Screen, review, and process all the Education Assistance Program applications
  • Support & promote organizations values / key concepts
  • Coordinate HR Monthly Update including invite speakers for sharing, plan out contents, food & room arrangement

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Certified as a trainer.
  • 5-7 years of experiences
  • Bachelors degree in HRM or Management or Education or Training and Development, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Training Consultant or similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in the use of various training tools and technologies.
  • Ability to adapt training programs to meet the evolving needs of the organization and respond to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility in adjusting training delivery methods to accommodate different learning environments, including virtual and in-person settings.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Adept at identifying training gaps and implementing innovative solutions to address organizational learning needs
  • Proactive in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during training sessions
