About the job Manager – Marketing and Sales
The Role
Prepare and Execute the Marketing Strategies and Action Plans in Line with the Business and Corporate Strategies.
Responsible for the Sales Function and the Business Development of the Company
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare marketing strategies and action plans and execute them to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Overlook the activities of the marketing department.
- Review the performance of the marketing department on regular basis
- Generating new business leads.
- Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, finance and public relations departments.
- Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
- Developing and managing the marketing department's budget.
- Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
- Managing the marketing department's staff.
- Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
- Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.
- Work with marketing team to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams.
- Communicates with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition.
- Works within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service.
- Tracks all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to management team.
- Adjusts marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback.
Qualifications
What we’re after…
Bachelor’s Degree or full profession qualification in marketing.
Having a relevant master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 3 – 5 years Strategic Level Experience as the Manager / Head of Marketing,
Head of Sales or Head of Business Development . preferably in the education industry.
Excellent communication, People management and negotiation skills.
Should be fluent in English, Technology and Digital savvy.
Candidates from close proximity preferred.
Nice to have
Prior experience in a similar role, achieved and exceeded set goals and targets.
Experience working with academics.
Minimum 3 years of experience.
ATL and BTL marketing know how
Proficiency in MS Office suite and other software.
Technology / Digital expertise, exposure and experience.
