Founded in 1968, our company has become a niche player in the manufacturing industry as we continue to create high quality, graphite-based components for the aerospace industry. We are happy to say that we will be expanding into new facilities! With the expansion comes growth, and we are in need of a valuable member of our furnace team to help create intricate carbon graphite components!

Shift: A (7-3:30), B (3-11:30), and C (11-7:30)

Pay: $18-24/hour. There is also a 10% differential for B shift, and 15% for C shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate high temperature vacuum furnace.
  • Monitor process and record parameters
  • Utilize analog and digital gauges, digital controllers and PC HMI to record temperature, current, voltage, flow, pH, level, pressure and partial pressure of liquid and gas
  • Adjust gauges, valves, digital I/O and (HMI) process parameters to ensure safety of personnel
  • LOTO : Electric (high & low voltage), Pneumatic, Water Circulation and Process Gas
  • Work with hazardous material and corrosive gas
  • Able to periodically operate in a full face respirator, test required
  • Adheres to established clean room procedures
  • Standard maintenance
  • Change pump oil
  • Clean chambers, exhaust piping and stacks (reassemble as required)
  • Inspect equipment for erosion and mechanical integrity
  • Record and report equipment condition and status
  • Remove, inspect, replace: carbon insulation and graphite heaters
  • Install vacuum pumps

Your Abilities and Background:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior furnace experience is a must for this position
  • Punctual, communicative, and willing to learn
