You are and have:

  • Years' experience 3+ years
  • Experience with front-end frameworks NuxtJS, VueJS, React, NextJS, etc.
  • Native app development skills
  • Coding advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as building systems based on NPM, Gulp, Webpack, Sass
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently, sometimes with limited direction or input
  • Confident using Git/Gitflow branching strategies and working from a tasking system like Jira
  • Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks (React or similar) and experience working within an open-source CMS platform (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)

Description of Services/Deliverables:

The Front-end developer will deliver a day-to-day deep technical expert insight on the team by evaluating and making decisions on new technologies and how they fit into the product solutions. 3+ years of (similar) experience leading and implementing software or web/mobile infrastructure projects.​ Are the go-to person when it comes to front-end web technologies and associated topics. The Front-end development team contributes to hands-on coding and testing, reviewing pull requests for code quality, integrating back-end services and 3rd party platforms, and contributing to and attending regular sprint ceremonies and feature release meetings. They are active in triaging issues and helping solve problems and/or impediments at the team level. ​

Responsibilities:

  • Team management
  • Deliver amazing web-based experiences with quality at the forefront of our process.
  • Writing and reviewing code within a sprint delivery cycle. Review code pull requests and provide feedback to ensure code quality.
  • Complete assigned stories and tasks and provide regular status on assigned work.
  • Contribute to solutions at the team level, and aid in providing tangible solutions.
  • Work with Digital Production, QA, and other key workstreams to deliver work on time with accuracy, performance, and best practices in mind.
  • Work with Service Engineers to integrate first-party and or 3rd party services.
  • Optimization of all web-related digital assets.
  • Build applications with performance in mind. Be thoughtful of the available end-user computer resources and respectful of customers' devices and limitations. E.g., application impact on memory and CPU, etc.).
  • Work with QA to resolve in-sprint, regression, and/or in-production bugs. 
  • Work with Digital Production to pivot on stories and tasks based on evolving requirements or other factors.
  • Help to improve and refine code delivery processes continually. 
  • Be able to reduce Tech Debt
