What we are looking for🤓

The QA Engineer will work collaboratively with multiple disciplines including UX, Visual Design, Marketing/Content Strategy, Business Analysis and Development to deliver quality across multiple deliveries. Other types of projects may include CMS, E-commerce, and Email Marketing Platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and perform Gap Analysis of Business and functional requirements.
• Analyze and verify Backend Services/API using Postman, SOAP, etc.
• Refine and execute manual functional testing against a QA checklist or standard process
• Contribute to process improvement in Quality and the overall delivery process
• Log and track all bugs in Jira

• Participate in bugs triages, scrums or retrospectives to help resolve bugs and blockers
• Front-end HTML/CSS/JS Analysis & Testing
• HTTP and AJAX Web Server<>Client Understanding
• Cross-Browser/Device/Email client web testing and analysis
• Process flexibility and comfort working with many client-specific standards, processes and tools

• Web testing from visual design through HTML templating to final web front-end
• Perform functional testing of the email, landing pages, modals, templates and components

What it takes:

• You have a bachelor's degree preferably in Internet Technologies, Computer Science or interdisciplinary or equivalent related experience preferred
• You have 3 or more years of related QA experience

• You have experience creating test cases and QA progress reports
• You have experience using JIRA and Confluence
• You have experience with testing APIs and using tools such as Postman, Restful Api Clients, etc.
• You have agency experience
• You are always interested in learning about new systems and technology

• You are a problem solver with an eye for detail, who is passionate about new technology
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate highly detailed technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• You are a strong listener and communicator relating to note-taking (test results documentation) skills with an analytical and methodical approach
• You have experience with enterprise CMS systems such as Adobe CQ, Oracle FatWire, SLD Tridion, Autonomy Interwoven TeamSite, WordPress or similar is a plus
• You are self-managing and have the ability to adjust to competing priorities and allocate your time and patience as necessary to get the job done
