Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Application Support to support and enhance critical logistics applications in an SLA-driven environment. This role combines production support and development, requiring strong coding, debugging, and database troubleshooting skills.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable diagnosing production issues, implementing code fixes, and delivering small enhancements while working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise logistics applications.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents and service requests.
  • Debug and fix issues using .NET and SQL.
  • Implement change requests, bug fixes, and minor feature enhancements.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Manage incidents through ITIL-based processes using ServiceNow.
  • Track development tasks and changes through Azure DevOps.
  • Communicate clearly with technical teams and business users.
  • Participate in major incident handling and on-call rotations.

Work Profile

  • 50% Production Support
  • 50% Development / Enhancements
  • Handle 10–12 support tickets per day on average
  • On-call rotation (approximately once per month)

Technical Requirements

  • Strong experience with .NET / C#
  • Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Ability to read, debug, and modify production code
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Exposure to Azure (preferred) or AWS
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps

Process Knowledge

  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Major Incident Management)
  • Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
