About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage and execute all aspects of payroll processing. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations while supporting employees with payroll- and benefits-related queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately calculate employee wages, deductions, contributions, and withholdings; ensure timely payroll execution.
  • Timekeeping Management: Maintain and verify employee attendance and time records in line with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure payroll practices meet all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting obligations.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee enrollment and records for benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Payroll Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular payroll reports to management and accounting teams, offering insights into labor costs and contributions.
  • Tax Filing: Accurately prepare and submit payroll-related tax forms (e.g., W-2, 1099) within required deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
