Job Openings Product Designer (AI-First, B2B SaaS)

About the job Product Designer (AI-First, B2B SaaS)

Role Overview

Were looking for a Product Designer with strong AI-first instincts-someone who designs systems, workflows, and interfaces where AI actively supports real user decisions.

This is not a purely visual role. You'll focus on how humans and AI collaborate in complex, high-stakes operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

AI-First Product Design

  • Design AI-assisted workflows such as copilots, recommendations, alerts, and summaries
  • Translate probabilistic AI outputs into clear, actionable UI
  • Design for trust, explainability, and confidence in AI-driven insights

Core Product Design

  • Own the full design lifecycle: discovery wireframes prototypes production UI
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from early-stage ideation
  • Design experiences for multiple personas (operational users, managers, leadership)

Systems Thinking

  • Build scalable design systems that support AI outputs (confidence levels, alerts, variability over time)
  • Design visual representations for risk, uncertainty, lead times, and change tracking

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 4+ years of product design experience (B2B SaaS preferred)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing complex workflows (not just UI screens)
  • Experience using AI tools in the design process (research, ideation, prototyping)
  • Solid understanding of human + AI interaction design
  • Comfortable designing for operational and enterprise users

AI-First Signals (Highly Valued)

  • Experience designing products where AI influences decision-making
  • Ability to decide when not to surface AI outputs
  • Understanding of confidence, uncertainty, and edge cases
  • Hands-on use of tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Cursor, or similar as part of your workflow

Nice to Have

  • Background in construction, logistics, or enterprise operations

  • Experience designing dashboards, copilots, or decision-support tools

Why This Role

  • Opportunity to design from first principles (no legacy UX baggage)

  • Real-world impact on large-scale operational projects

  • High ownership and close collaboration with senior decision-makers

  • AI is a core product constraint—not a buzzword
