Job Summary:

Our client is a leading automobile company based in Sri Lanka, specializing in high-quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Automobile) to lead and manage the showroom operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing the sales team, ensuring a premium customer experience, and overseeing the overall performance of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve showroom sales targets.

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance brand loyalty.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

Team Management & Leadership:

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance.

  • Assign sales targets and track individual/team performance.

  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Customer Experience & Showroom Management:

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and personalized consultations.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and visually appealing.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales services efficiently.

Inventory & Administration:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and the inventory team to ensure optimal stock levels.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and generate reports for management review.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop competitive strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling luxury or high-end automobile brands.

  • Knowledge of automobile financing and insurance processes.
