INSURANCE BROKER
SALARY: $90,000 $115,000 YEARLY
PERMANENT FULL-TIME
About the Role:
The Insurance Broker will be responsible for providing professional insurance broking services to commercial and rural clients in a permanent full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete policy cycle, including new business, renewals, amendments, and endorsements.
Assess client insurance needs and recommend suitable products and tailored risk management solutions.
Negotiate with insurers and underwriters to secure appropriate cover at competitive terms.
Provide claims support, including assistance with lodgement and follow-up through to settlement.
Maintain and service a portfolio of clients, developing strong professional relationships.
Review client policies on a regular basis to ensure cover remains adequate and relevant.
Maintain accurate client and policy records using insurance industry systems.
Keep up to date with industry developments, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
Support a collaborative team environment and provide mentoring to junior staff where appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications:
ASIC RG146 Tier 1 and Tier 2 accreditation required.
Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and/or QPIB accreditation desirable.
Previous experience using industry systems preferred.
Strong client service focus with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Employment Details:
Position: Permanent full-time
Salary reviewed annually, with regular performance-based bonuses
