The Role:

We are seeking a full-time Veterinary Surgeon with substantial experience to join our highly skilled and compassionate team. This role is particularly suited to a senior veterinarian with advanced surgical expertise and diagnostic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced orthopedic and spinal surgeries, including laminectomies and TPLO procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic imaging such as radiography, CT scanning, and myelograms.
• Manage complex fracture repairs and a range of routine and advanced surgical procedures.
• Provide high-standard veterinary care during consultations, surgery, and inpatient treatment.
• Work independently, including sole charge and weekend shifts when required.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized veterinary degree that meets Australian standards.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on orthopedic and spinal surgery.
• Proven experience in laminectomy and TPLO procedures.
• Proficiency in diagnostic imaging including CT scans and myelograms.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex surgical cases and work autonomously.
• Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of WA.
