About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead and optimize our site operations. In this role, you will take ownership of production strategies, resource planning, and team performance to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and oversee the execution of production plans, ensuring    alignment with company goals and operational capacity.
- Plan and coordinate production activities including output targets, labor    allocation, timelines, and cost control.
- Supervise plant operations and implement quality control procedures,        maintenance planning, and resource supply management.
- Analyse production data to monitor output, costs, and efficiency, and    adjust operations to optimize performance.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on production progress,    challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the procurement, commissioning, and integration of new    equipment and plant infrastructure.
- Identify and implement innovations in production methods and      operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on production    metrics, maintenance, and workforce utilization.
- Lead the implementation of occupational health and safety standards    across all operational areas.
- Direct and support staff in achieving daily objectives while monitoring      performance and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Skills and Experience:


- Proven leadership experience in a production, operations, or site    management role within the mining, civil, or industrial sector.
- A bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant    experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage equipment, schedules, and personnel in a fast-paced,    resource-sensitive environment
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in high-risk      industries
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience liaising    across departments and with senior management
- Competence in reporting, operational documentation, and team      coordination
- Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., safety, plant operation, lifting and rigging) will be highly regarded
